The operating room team includes anesthesiologists, anesthesia nurses, scrub nurses, technicians, and support staff working within a coordinated clinical workflow. In orthognathic surgery, this coordination is essential because each stage of treatment requires careful control, from anesthesia and surgical field management to postoperative recovery and early follow-up.
The operating room system follows strict infection-control and instrument-processing protocols. In addition, modern anesthesia, monitoring, and dedicated recovery facilities allow close observation during and after surgery.
